There is one thing that we can be certain of in life and this is that the universe does not discriminate.
It does not play favorites.
And when we least expect, it will throw us a curve ball.
Submerging ourselves in this negativity leads into circles of frustration. This in turn creates the victim cycle. Chained up and chastised, we become barren and stuck without freedom. We start the blame game and everyone and everything apart from ourselves is the reason why we are in the depths of despair. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if we are here in this state of internal chaos, it is our very choices that got us here. We are the ones who entrapped ourselves and our very freedom, limiting any chance of true liberation and enlightenment.
Unfortunately, there is no simple way out when we are in a space like this. And if we take the short road, it’s normally a transient or band-aid solution which creates a false sense of security. As Christ said "Hard is the way and narrow the gate by which one enters the kingdom of heaven."
It does not play favorites.
And when we least expect, it will throw us a curve ball.
No doubt about it.
Why? In order for us to expand our universal consciousness, our soul and being needs to go through experiences that challenge our current state.
These phases are all tests to strengthen our mental, physical and spiritual being; sparking life into our existence. It is also an opportunity to grow, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of our true divine and powerful nature.
For we are all warriors of light, taking our place in a great war for truth and righteousness.
The reality of this war is that we are battling our own limitations that consist of our truths, beliefs and perceptions.
Our mission if we wish to accept it, is to conquer and transcend these inner demons, and insecurities.

Remember, our greatest enemy is not someone or something external, but in fact it is our laziness or unwillingness to change, leaving our progress of internal evolution in a state of stagnation. In Vedic spirituality they call this the thamsic template, which is a weapon of internal destruction. It is easy for us to be caught up, and become a product of our environment, complaining about everything and stifled in mindset of ignoramus inertia.

So how can we ensure that we escape from this debilitating Alcatraz?
Well from history we know that the most successful people are the ones who constantly pushed the boundaries to reach their purpose and goals. They passionately took the road less travelled, patiently developing characteristics to adapt and be relentless.
They nurtured habits of discipline and focus while upholding their values.
The conditioning and limitations of society did not govern them and they were not fazed by people who constantly said they couldn’t do it. What made them extraordinary in their chosen journey was the ability to convert an idea into a structured thought process, and than took action to transform and manifest that dream into reality.
This is what I would call modern day alchemy when a person can create something from nothing. In reality we should be promoting and appreciating people like this in our society who are delivering on their promises and living life through the highest and righteous levels of existence.
A contemporary example of this would be Will Smith. He worked through his hardships to gain a more complete understanding and greater vision.
So the first thing for us to do is to find our purpose and set goals to achieve it. Even if it is just to move through the phase that you are in.
This is a reason why our outlook to life is crucial and we need to cultivate a perspective of positivity.
For all the vibrations and frequencies we place in the universe will be heard. It may not necessarily manifest in our actions straightaway, but the subtleness of our thoughts is just as powerful for these are the starting or trigger points to make change.
How we react and make these changes in perception will define our blueprint and path to freedom and liberation, from our current state of mind.
We need to raise our levels of awareness to be able to sight the positive things and the powerful beings in our lives.
Once we identify who these outstanding people are and seek out strong traits, we can then incorporate this into our being. They will be our beacons of light guiding us through those dark moments.
One of the most important values to develop is persistence, staying resilient to setbacks. As we are well aware, this won’t happen over night so don’t waiver even if it seems like time is not on your side. The universe has impeccable timing and knows when we are ready. A photographer may take 1000 pictures, and only 1 would be that perfect moment they have been waiting to capture. A basketball player may miss every shot, but than scores 3 points in the dying moments to win the game. Nelson Mandela was in prison for 28 years, but he still fought with freedom from within his cell and never lost sight of his vision.
So it's also very much about our mental being. Our will power, drive and mental structure are key to success.
Giving up is not an option! Don’t think that you are making a mistake or that you are a failure. Sometimes the lesson comes in the form of the elimination process. The valuable lesson we have been taught is that this does not work for us and we have to move on to the next one.
Thomas Edison once said “I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work” …
It is paramount to be objective, truthful and honest in this situation.
We have to front up and not be scared, to see what is really going on in our lives as we are only fooling ourselves into an illusion of something that is not really happening.
A good way to bring this to the forefront is to reflect and internalize it through meditation.
Sitting in silence will help you clear your thoughts and more importantly open up creative spaces, allowing new and powerful thoughts to take their place.
Another suggestion that is bound to assist us in surpassing this space is by doing good deeds, especially for people who are less fortunate. This will put things in perspective and we quickly realize that there are people in more trying positions than us. We must begin to appreciate the things we already have in our lives, rather than focusing on what we don’t.
It is a natural reinforcement of happiness and when we are in this space, the tides turn where the universe collaborates, by opening doors of opportunity that lead us out of this living hell.
The last thing to introduce in your path to freedom is to find time for our outlets of happiness and solaces of peace. We will need a break from the battle and chaos and these will be a perfect way to relax.
Life is to short to complain, take action warrior of light!
Have a blessed one and remember; "True power lies in tranquility".
